Cadets Lose, 5-2, at Blernsballers Ballpark

The New New York Blernsballers picked up a win at Blernsballers Ballpark, knocking off the Star Fleet Academy Cadets, 5-2. Starting pitcher Frugorn Coronda played a key role in the triumph. Coronda picked up the win for New New York, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 3-3. The first-place Blernsballers, at 70-42, now lead their division by 7 games.
Serin Tookes, who finished 4th in the SL in triples with 5 in 2035, aided the New New York cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
