The Dunharrow Devils defeated the Dagorlad Disaster, 2-1 in Game 4 of the Two Towers Series today. Earning player of the game honors was starter Lantai Lómebrildur, who threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The win moves Dunharrow into a 2-2 tie with Dagorlad in the series.
Tied up with the Disaster in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Devils got a boost from second baseman Mubur Curumo. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Curumo saw a full count fastball from Danya Headon and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Dunharrow on top, 2-1.
“I made some pitches when I had to,” said Lómebrildur.
Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow at Dunharrow Field. Slated to start are Sourk Ratbelly for the Dagorlad Disaster and Gruudash Facestomper for the the Dunharrow Devils.
