The Dunharrow Devils and the Dagorlad Disaster will take the Two Towers Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Devils beat the Disaster 4-1 at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Dunharrow first baseman Asphodel Brockhouse was named player of the game in the win after he hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the sixth when Brockhouse hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Devils into the lead, 2-0.
“Things broke our way today and that’s great,” Devils manager Tika Dap said. “It’s important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren’t done yet.”
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium. Slated to start are Eva Chiselarm for the Dunharrow Devils and Joop Nasor for the the Dagorlad Disaster.
