Game 5 was big. So was Sourk Ratbelly.
The Dagorlad starter rose to the occasion at Dunharrow Field today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Disaster to a crucial 5-2 victory over the Dunharrow Devils. Ratbelly threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball as the Disaster won on the road to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Two Towers Series.
Higak the Rude, who is a two-time Legolas Fielder Award winner, aided the Dagorlad cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
“We’ll enjoy this win,” said the Rude. “But there’s more we hope to accomplish.”
The next game is scheduled for Wednesday at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium. Slated to start are Todo Gilmore for Dunharrow and Noisur Farren for Dagorlad.
