The Isengard Raiders moved to within one game of the Two Towers Series today, downing the Dagorlad Disaster on the road at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium by a score of 4-1. Raiders right-hander Grailas Limke was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 5 innings allowing 1 run. The win gives the Raiders a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Fellowship Series.
Terra Stonecrown’s at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant for the Raiders. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Isengard leading 2-1, the center fielder hit a sacrifice fly.
“I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance,” said Limke.
