Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Merry Fellows, 4-3

Old Forest first baseman Diador Elrailbo was the key at Shire Greens Stadium today, being named player of the game as he powered the Merry Fellows to victory in a critical Game 5 of the Fellowship Series. The Merry Fellows took the 4-3 win over the Lake Town Archers to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Elrailbo delivered big-time for Old Forest, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Fruhil the Explorer. The game-changing hit put the Merry Fellows on top, 4-2.

“I’m just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well,” said Elrailbo. “And not try to do too much.”
