Merry Fellows, Raiders Play 14 to Settle Game 3, Old Forest Now Leads Series 2-1

With left fielder Gandeaden Elreodriel leading the charge, the Old Forest Merry Fellows got past the Isengard Raiders, 4-3, in extra innings in Game 3 of the Return of the King Series today. Elreodriel was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks at Orthanc Stadium as Old Forest managed to take to a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Old Forest needed the clutch hitting of Guggek Hammerarm to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 14th inning to put the Merry Fellows on top, 4-3. For the game, Hammerarm had 1 home run and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

“One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves,” Elreodriel told the Old Forest Daily.

Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow at Orthanc Stadium. Slated to start are Bulbo Moss for the Old Forest Merry Fellows and Diador Arwaun for the the Isengard Raiders.
