Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Raiders, 7-2

The Isengard Raiders moved to within one game of the Round 5 today, downing the visiting Old Forest Merry Fellows at Orthanc Stadium by a score of 7-2. Raiders right-hander Grailas Limke was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives the Raiders a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Return of the King Series.

Limke, the Isengard right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 3 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.

“It’s a mindset,” said Limke. “Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent.”

Game 6 is set to be played Monday at Shire Greens Stadium. Slated to start are Gigdish Toothkicker for the Isengard Raiders and Galugol Eliolas for the the Old Forest Merry Fellows.
