Witch Kings Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Weathertop Witch Kings downed the Misty Mountain Hops, 4-3, at Gap of Rohan Park. The Witch Kings were led by Fay Gamgee. Gamgee was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win belonged to Andy van Cleave in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ogguk Derrokicker took the loss for Misty Mountain. The win puts the Witch Kings at 68-79, while the Hops drop to 56-91.

Weathertop used the timely hitting of Xhalh Dridersmasher to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Witch Kings on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Dridersmasher.
