At Orthanc Stadium, the Isengard Raiders and Old Forest Merry Fellows were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Old Forest Merry Fellows trumped the Isengard Raiders, 9-0, at Orthanc Stadium. Old Forest first baseman Tugbu the Squasher was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Old Forest is now 34-26, 7½ games up in the Shire Conference Elf Division.

Early in the game, the Squasher had a run-scoring double for Old Forest. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Merry Fellows on top, 1-0.

"We had a nice day," said Old Forest skipper Tom Bombadil.
