Human Lands Defeats Orc Lands

It was an emotional clubhouse for Human Lands after they claimed the 2052 Fantasy World Classic crown with a 11-10 victory over Orc Lands in the final game.
Human Lands right fielder and tournament MVP Rumzug Steale was too choked up to speak with reporters after the game.
"He played his heart out and it showed," said Human Lands manager Vatina Elör. "He has wanted this his entire career, so it's a special moment for him and for the rest of the team."

Maxim Blisters Dwarven Lands

Thugmag Maxim did a number on the Dwarven Lands in the 13-3 Orc Lands victory -- and the number was 5. The Orc Lands left fielder banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Warriors Field to lead his club past the Dwarven Lands.
"I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."
Thugmag Maxim singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Dumli Earthslicer in the 8th.
