This Week's Star Player is Braingobber

Anfauglith fans have something to crow about today as Anfauglith left fielder Ghubbuh Braingobber nabbed the Durin League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days.
"I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Braingobber.
He posted a .429 average (9-for-21) this past week with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, and 7 runs scored.
This year, Braingobber is hitting .385 with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs in 15 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .432 with 7 walks and 15 runs scored.

Sill Week's #1 Player

It was an extraordinary week for Dhataki Sill of the Mount Doom Merrymen. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .550, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Balin League. Last week Sill went 11-for-20, racked up 1 home run and 9 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Mount Doom right fielder.
So far this season, Sill has put up a .316 batting average with 12 hits, 1 home run and 10 RBIs.
