Old Ford-Anfauglith Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, July 1st , 2050 Yesterday at Aristocrats Ballpark Pavle Glogowski and Aldagrim the Dapper got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Old Ford Otters and Anfauglith Aristocrats. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Glogowski will have to sit out 4 while the Dapper would be given a 9-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. Glogowski is currently batting .207 with 4 home runs, 21 runs scored and 19 RBIs. His OBP is .392. To date this season, the Dapper has a record of 6 wins and 5 losses and a 6.90 ERA. He has appeared in 17 games and struck out 55 in 87.1 innings. |
