Howlers Prevail, as Division Series Goes to the Wire

A classic and dramatic Division Series has wrapped up, with the Hobbiton Howlers outlasting the White Mountain Raiders to advance to the League Championships.
Hobbiton won the final game by a score of 8-6 and took the series 3-2.
"We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Hobbiton left fielder Geadriel Elimir, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.
Elimir hit .409 with a .480 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Hobbiton Howlers will play against the Erebor Fire Drakes in the next round. Erebor won their series against the Langflood Lightning 3 games to 0. The League Championships schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.

Harriers Move on to League Championships

The fans in Helm's Deep are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Brithon.
The Helm's Deep Harriers finished off the Brithon Fey 4-2 in the deciding game of the Division Series played at Ballpark of Brithon.
They took the series 3-2 and will now head to the League Championships.
For his standout play, Helm's Deep right fielder Muskra Elvawen was voted the series' Most Valuable Player.
He batted .526, drove in 15 runs and scored 6 to lead his club to victory.
"We could never really figure out how to pitch to Elvawen and that doomed us," said Fey manager Verin Bilas. "Hats off to Helm's Deep, though. That was a great series."
The Helm's Deep Harriers will play against the Falas Falcons in the next round. Falas won their series against the Minas Tirith Tigers 3 games to 1. The League Championships schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
