Foinussson Strokes 3 HR Against Angmar Monday, July 11th , 2050 Nurn Prairie Thunder second baseman Rosil Foinussson had a magnificent game against the Angmar Railhawks, rocketing three balls out of Nurn Grounds to help the Prairie Thunder win, 24-4. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Foinussson went 5-for-7 with 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Nurn manager Arghren Gonzalez said later. "Seems like Rosil found his home run stroke today." Rosil Foinussson grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Zuzbuzg the Fanged in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Mentha Marblerage in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Iris Sillybottom in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th. In 20 games Foinussson is hitting .393 this season with 33 hits, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs, 14 walks, .485 OBP and has scored 26 runs. |
