Bruisers Win Round 2 Saturday, May 6th , 2051 Pandora Greenthumb did all he could to help guide his team into the next round of the playoffs, but it wasn't enough. Greenthumb was named MVP in a losing cause, as the Lond Daer JC Bruisers defeated his Lockholes JC Bravery by a score of 2-1 at California Grounds. "I want to be going on to the Round 3 and I couldn't care less about getting the MVP in a loss," he said. For their part, the Bruisers were overjoyed to get the win despite the big performance from Greenthumb. "Greenthumb played great, but in the end we got the win," said Bruisers manager Rabur Axecutter. "That's all anyone is going to remember." The Round 3 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
