Soifursson Selected NC's Premier Player

He may have less experience than most of his SGCBL Junior College peers, but that didn't slow Harakaz Soifursson down at all in 2049.
At the age of 19, the Lake Town JC first baseman has been named the winner of the Numenor Conference Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .396 batting average and a .489 on-base percentage this year. In 47 games he piled up 74 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 12 home runs, 49 RBIs and 48 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 30. Trurbash the Sly of the Romenna JC Vandals finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Bushog Spearripper of the Durthang JC Polar Bears finished third with 4 first place votes.
