When Mirkwood starting pitcher Orangeblossom Hornblower was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Sylvan-Darkwings game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Hornblower had sustained a torn rotator cuff and will be out for about 8 months.
So far this year Hornblower has 11 wins and 8 losses and a 3.55 ERA.
