The Mirkwood Sylvan received word today that right fielder Grigmub Tibolt was selected Shire Conference Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week’s games.
Tibolt took full advantage of all 22 plate appearances last week as he hit .444 with 8 hits, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
Tibolt is batting at a .226 pace this season, picking up 99 hits in 439 at-bats with 22 home runs, 45 RBIs and 66 runs scored.
