Once you hit 35, it’s hard to say how much time you’ve got left in baseball. Ferdinand *Puttifoot has been fortunate as his numbers for the past week bear out. The 41-year-old third baseman, a favorite in the Bywater Bounders clubhouse, hit .480 last week as he put up Player of the Week numbers.
*Puttifoot also put together 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs and 8 RBIs for the week.
This season, *Puttifoot is swinging the bat at a .375 rate with 60 hits in 160 at-bats. To date he has hit 14 home runs, scored 36 runs and driven in 34.
