The Carrock Bears knotted up the Fellowship Series at Shire Greens Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Nieven Stryjski. Stryjski quieted the Old Forest Merry Fellows, enabling Carrock to grab the 3-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Stryjski allowed no runs on 6 hits over 7 innings for the Bears. He walked 1 and struck out 6.
Merry Fellows manager Tom Bombadil did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference “if and when we win the Return of the King Series.”
The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 11th , 2052 at Old League Park.
