Carrock right fielder Sam *Oakenstaff was the difference-maker for the Bears in what turned into a shootout with the Narnia Badgers. *Oakenstaff earned accolades after going 1-for-3 in the 8-5 Bears win. With the victory, the Bears moved into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Who knows how it might’ve ended, had it not been for Mubgorg Ghoulslicer? The Carrock third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bears on top, 7-4. For the game, Ghoulslicer had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
“We’re happy,” Ghoulslicer told reporters after the win. “When you’re in the playoffs, you’ve got to treat every game like it could be your last.”
