Can’t blog. Burned PC for heat.

OK, OK, so today for the first time ever I didn’t snicker derisively at the weather dude when he started in about wind chill. “Wind chill? Puh-leeze? Man, I’m from Maine. It ain’t wind chill until it gets down below 20, dontcha know?”

The wind chill at 6:30 AM was 19. And it’s getting colder for another hour or so.

This is a horrible two days of winter. I don’t know how we’ll survive…

I know I have only been in Lakeland 2 months. Left Maine just in time, Over 40 inches of snow so far back home. But its starting to feel like we may see snow down heah dontcha know…

Our family is all from PA/NY so I know cold as well, hence the reason I live in Georgia 🙂 I have had to deal with the English husband complaining about the heat here for the last 7 years, and guess what, he said it was cold this morning. Finally, I have him right where I want him.

Hah. It’s noon and our windchill is 19 now! Our ACTUAL temperature was 17 this morning. Pansy ;P

Holy Crap! You got’s Ooshka down there now too?

(BTW, oh long-tailed one, we’re over 52 inches of snow for December. Just sayin’…)

And it is frickin’ cold here, fer sure. So I’m not feeling your pain, Floridians.

I do have to say that the snow actualy is kinda neat, now that we’ve dealt with it. It’s one of the back-in-the-day moments, like when we all say how we remember the HUGE snowbanks we used to have when we were kids? Well bunky, we gots’em now. And it’s really cool (no pun intended) seeing the paths we have to chop out of the snow. And the packed down snow. Etc, etc, ad nauseum.

Pretty now, but not so much fun trying to find a place for it all, and thank whatever deity you’d like that my snowblower didn’t fritz on me!

If I was ambitious, I take photo’s and send them to ya. Big “if”, if you know what I mean. 🙂

Ooshka in FLA? Huh. Whodathunkit. 🙂
Stay warm. I gots my long-johns on, and three shirts, so I’m pretty toasty, and haven’t even had a drink yet!

That’s just criminal. There’s your song title: “It was 19 degrees today in Sunny Florida”

    Oh it’s still raining here.

Never ending eternal grey skied raining.

    Raining…raining…raining.

    drip…drip…drip…

Oh I’ll see the sun again.

    In August.

    grey.

    raining.

    *sigh*
