    I linked the movie blog yesterday, but I somehow missed the teaser? Thanks for the heads-up!

    Have you seen the other movie version? Did you like it? I found a pretty good deal (or what looks like a pretty good deal) for it on ebay but didn’t snap it up. I may have missed my opportunity.

    I didn’t see a towel. Or a babelfish. Or Peril-Sensitive Sunglasses. Or 42. Obviously, they’re gonna screw it up. (I don’t mind if they leave out the Vogon poetry, though.)

    OK. Watched it again. Saw the 42 this time. I must’ve missed it reading the captions the first time. But I noticed there was no Pangalactic Gargleblaster. And no Eccentrica Gallumbits, The Triple-Breasted Whore of Eroticon VI. No microscopic space fleets. Not a single utterance of (dare I say it in public forum?) … b-e-l-g-i-u-m. And how can they make a movie without the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal? Didn’t see ANY of those in there.
    (I’m a pessimist. When they make movies of my favorite books, they usually screw them up. Maybe if I don’t expect anything good, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.)
