Fly away, fly away home…

Airport wireless is the bestest invention since the self-flushing toilet.

Sitting in the Pittsburgh airport, waiting for the flying bus to arrive. There’s another 2 or 3 hours before lift off, but I have a smidge of laptop battery left, and I am only half-way through Team of Rivals (not to mention a whole book of sudoku).

This stretch of travel has put a lid on recording the last two songs of my CD, but the quiet nights in the hotel room have provided some time to write a few more. As soon as I get some suitable photos taken, my art director is going to launch my music site at www.lesternorton.com (which is already registered and ready).

In other musical news, I now covet the relatively affordable Martin DX1. So, buy me one for my birthday, willya?

You still gonna do my song at some point?

I’d like to be famous too, you know!

  2. Solonor says:

I tried to do it, but it never sounds right to me. I think I keep hearing the guy that sang it before, and I just can’t sing like that.

I’m gonna give it another shot, but it probably won’t be on this cd.

    The DX1, she’s a beauty!

  4. Linkmeister says:

Hey, that guitar has no built-in electronics!

When did that start with acoustic guitars, and why?

  5. Somewhat says:

Is that a placeholder, or your actual site?

    Ok, Solonor, here’s the deal…..

I can’t steal stuff from your blog for my blog if you’re not here to blog.

With all due respect, get your butt back here!

    Thank you kindly.
