Two wins away.

Besides the fact that the Sox have already proved that 2 (or even 3) wins does not a series winner make, the last time they won the first two games of the World Series was… 1986. And we all know how that one ended.

    2 wins. that’s incredible. i can’t say anything else, for fear of jinxing it. i can see the headlines now: “Damn Yankee Jinxes Sox After Saying ——”

    wouldn’t want that on my plate.

    i lived through 1986, and i’ll live through this. everyone at work keeps saying “woohoo” to me, and i say… just wait, just wait.

    but deep inside i say… WOOHOOOO!! TWO MORE GAMES!!!

    The key will be Pedro on Tuesday. If he isn’t THE Pedro Martinez, then it will be up to Lowe and Wakefield again. I’m not sure Lowe’s got another game in him like he had against the Yankees. And I love Wake, but he always makes me nervous. Please, God, don’t make Schilling have to pitch again!!!
