Happy Holidays, mon

Just got back from the holiday concert at my kids’ high school. Let me tell ya, you just haven’t experienced the holiday season until you’ve heard the Dreidel Song played by a steel drum band!

Seriously, they did a version of “Carol of the Bells” with all percussion instruments that was incredible. I think I would have bought the CD even if my kids weren’t in it.

How cool is that? I love steel bands…and imagine the kids worked really hard on that…VERY cool!

    i feel so…cheated…
…for the gentle sounds of a steel drum drumming the dreidel song have never floated my way.
my holiday experiences have been for naught.
    it is all in vain.
    i must…go now.

Carol of the Bells is one of my most favorite Christmas tunes. I found a dance remix version on iTunes that is unbelievably good — the orchestral arrangement is amazing. Pass along the CD when you get a chance, would ya?
