So, firing all the animators, because “2-D is dead” and having the real Disney pissed off at you isn’t bad enough? How about having the source of your best 3-D animation give you the finger?
Yep. Pixar has decided that they can do just fine without Mr. Eisner and Company.
I’m really hoping the ex-Disney animators that have started up Legacy Animation Studios make a successful run at showing how good 2-D animation with good stories can still sell well.

Well, I think it’s in Pixar’s best interest. They certainly have an excellent track record of producing quality family entertainment. I hope they can keep it up. Disney certainly needs them more then they need Disney. Guess it’s time for Eisner’s golden parachute.
Scratch “graphic designer for 1 day at Disney” off my list of “what I would do for a day wish” and sign me up under Pixar!
I noticed the part where it said that Disney would still have the right to make sequels to movies such as *Toy Story* and *Monsters Inc*.
How much you wanna bet that if they do so, they will suck?
