I’m like omigawd and gagmewithaspoon and whutEVER. I ran into our old friend Speaker on IM tonight. Since he’s abandoned the blogosphere for the LiveJournal crowd, and since he wanted to add the RSS feed of Solonor’s Ink Well to his LJ, he went and set me up as an LJ user! I feel so 15.
EUREKA! It works! So, if you’re a LiveJournal user, and you can’t get enough of me, you can use this link to add the Ink Well to your friends page: http://www.livejournal.com/users/solonor_inkwell/
hey! i’ll have you know that a whole quarter of my LJ friends are over 15!
I’ve added the feed to my lj friends list.
LJ isn’t quite the adolescent hangout it used to be, as I understand it. Seems like a goodly number of the people who hang out at Teresa Hayden’s place have LJ accounts. Ms. Hayden and her husband Patrick are both long-time editors at Tor, so the visitors tend to be writers (some of them even published ones).
I’m also guilty of livejournaling 🙂 I’ve seen evidence of 15 year old squeeing fangirls, but I avoid them, and the people I associate with over there are at least able to buy alcohol legally. They need to, with all the porn… ;-D
Seriously, I didn’t even realize Bloggers and Livejournalists aren’t supposed to mix. But I have a tendency to disregard rules anyway. And I friended you over there, my dear 🙂
(Actually – the whole friends list thing is rather cool – I don’t have to go clicking all over the blogosphere to find out when people have updated! And comments are threaded, too. Definitely less control overall, but I don’t use fancy crap anyway!)
It can be so amusing man, you have no idea. Some of teh stuff that gets posted to teh SRQ community LJ is downright fricking hilarious!
If you dye your hair black and start wearing white makeup with a lot of mascara, be sure to post the pictures, won’t you?
