Lafayette, I have returned!

Ahhhhh, home at last. Holy hell it was cold! That was just what I needed to remind me why it is that I live in Florida. But on the bright side, while it is bad enough sweeping six inches of snow off the windows with no gloves, at least I didn’t have to use a credit card to scrape the ice (thanks, Avis)!

I will never whine about the temp getting down into the 50’s again. This week.

  2. geeky says:

i long for 50s. yesterday felt warm when it went up to 36.

  3. muzikdude says:

Of course you realize that 50 is a spring-like temperature…

  4. Becky says:

There were a couple of days last week or so that make 50

  5. Ric The Schmuck says:

Well, now that we’ve gotten you safely away from “home”, the temps are now going to plummet to -20 F tonight.

Ain’t we nice to wait till you leave to get really cold?

  6. Linkmeister says:

I ain’t mentionin’ no weather. I will say that I got the CD Tuesday or Wednesday and have now played it. Very nice stuff, especially if you watch it with Roxio where it puts up “visualizations” to match the music.

  7. Karan says:

We’ve had a sweltering past couple of days…64 today, 62 yesterday…we’re breaking out the sun screen now!

  8. shelley says:

GRRrrrr … we’ve been in the 40s and this is UT. I miss winter, dammit!

  9. kat says:

  10. jcwinnie says:

“Wait. Come back. I was going to make espresso.”

And, too bad, so sorry, Solly, you are missing the 14-21″ blizzard.

    🙂
i carry warm sunshine in my heart. 🙂
    which is good
cos its always cold and grey here. -15 in the daytime and 12-25″ blizzard heading my way, but HEY…i don’t waste valuable blog space complainin’…

  12. Lambchop says:

5 inches? ‘Tis barely a nubbin, though I’ll give you points for the ‘gloveless’ part. Almost 10 inches so far, and they’re expecting several more overnight.

And I’m home, drinking gallons of hot tea, (and suffering the constant trips to the loo as a result) and left with little to do except read smut, because there’s nobody online to sufficiently entertain me with their clever wit. *sigh* Oh, the woes of me.

  13. Ooshka says:

ditto to what Ric says but putting it another way…There was a 94 degree temperature differential between indoor and outdoor this am….70 versus -24. Got room for a boarder Solly? 😉

  14. jadedju says:

I gots me a cd too. I haven’t had a chance to listen yet (the Monday morning commute will probably be the first chance), but I can’t stop giggling about how cuuuuute you look on the cover.
