OK, so now I know what I’m not supposed to sing…
I spent the better part of the weekend working on a cover of the Psychedelic Furs “The Ghost in You.” The music came out pretty good, but the vocals suck. It’s like bad karaoke.
Meanwhile, I saw a post over at Scott’s about a high school band getting into trouble for trying to sing Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War” at a talent contest and thought, “Oh, what the hell.” Took me like 20 minutes, and excuse me for saying so, but it fricking rocks!

Kewl! Kinda like what I’ve been doing, trying out my voice against Live. So intense! More… MORE!
I’m waiting for “Like a Rolling Stone.” How much space does an mp3 of an eight-minute song take up? 😉
Double it and you’ve got a full CD!
I’m rockin’ out to The Ghost in You–and I just know I’ll be humming it for the next week. Not sure if this is blessing or curse, but your voice sounds great.
Good stuff, as usual. I don’t know what you didn’t like about the vocals in “Ghost”, but it sure sounds fine to me.
I hadn’t heard about that issue with the school and “Masters”. Too bad folks can’t let respectfull presentation of other views occur…
The Counting Crows also did a cover of “The Ghost in You.” Your vocals are much better than Adam Duritz.
Like usual these tunes ROCK!!!
Awesome job!!!
