I’ve spent the evening catching up on the last 2 eps of Heroes that i missed last season, haven’t watched the new ones yet will do that tomorrow….

Solly – and anyone else reading – don’t believe all the hype. The American media likes to sensationalize, blow things out of proportion. Things are bad, yes, but we’re still here and we’ll carry on. There have been bigger market crashes in the past and America has recovered. We just need to hold tight, think rationally, and not let the fear get to us. This is similar to what happened after 9/11 – remember how terrifying that time was? We let GW and Co. ride rough-shod over us, rushing into a war that didn’t even need to happen, because we were afraid.
In the words of FDR,”The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” His words made sense to our grandparents; I think we ought to apply them now.
