Keeping with the RPG motif, here are the stats I would have, were I a character in Dungeons and Dragons. I think they’re a little harsh. I’m way more smarterer than that…
Str: 9
Int: 11
Wis: 12
Dex: 13
Con: 9
Chr: 14
You can get your real life dnd stats, too!
Keep your “dork” comments to yourself. You know who I’m talkin’ to…
That was kinda neat. Here I am:
S – 9
I – 10
W – 14
D – 14
C – 9
Ch- 13
I woulda thought my Con could’ve been a couple of points higher, but having that operation for neck, and having hay fever allergies must’ve done me in!
i’ve never played d&d (E. Gary Gygax! did she just blaspheme in here?) so i don’t really understand these. but here are my results:
Str: 5
Int: 9
Wis: 13
Dex: 8
Con: 7
Chr: 17
interpretations? i think it pretty much indicates i’m a clumsy weakling with boatloads of charisma.
*bling*
Visiting this blog and never played D&D? Heresy!
(And in perfect synergy with this blog, I used Dictionary.com to check my spelling. Thanks Sol!)
High charisma today means sorcerer or bard.
Ric — looks like a ranger, to me.
That’s what I want to be when I grow up. 🙂
That is TOO funny! Ric is the character name of the RANGER he played! You are too good at this, sir. I’ll send you Solonor’s stats someday.
But will he guess Superman? 🙂
You’re looking like a cross-bow wielding sorceror to me, Solonor. Stat-wise, anyway.
I swear, as Ric is my witness, these are the natural numbers I rolled for Solonor:
Str 18/90
Int 18
Wis 18
Dex 15
Con 16
Chr 18
I made him a Fighter/Cleric/Magic-Abuser.
And here is his character sheet. Yes, it is sad. Almost 20 years later, and I still have this. In a file folder called “Case File 13: Walter” – along with Boreador, Charmian, Krespin, Sulamon, Gambit, Balinor, Dvorak, Flavius II, Branigan, Xyndrae, Sarek, Elessar, Luka, Eric, Sue Cash, Dahvo, Nikon, Severian, Scipio, Gilthaniel, Gregor, Norrin, Marvin Dingleberry, Gerrold, Sam Goodboy, Fawn and a host of others long-forgotten.
No Ric, though… I wonder if someone still has that?
Yup. Got it. Daryl the Fireballing Elf, too. And a bunch of others I barely remember playing. I still have the timeline, too….
I had a copy of my hobbit from 1978-1984 laying around somewhere. He made it to 12th level thief back in the days when getting there took forever and a day. I wonder where it went . . .
Btw, Solonor looks like a bad-ass. 🙂
Prob wuz that since he was multi-multi classed, it took him forever to advance in levels… back in that same day that you spoke of. I don’t remember exactly how high you got him, Sol, but my guess would be 6/6/5 or some such, right? maybe a little higher? Ric got to level 9 in that same time… Still, ol’Solonor was quite the addition to the adventuring perty, since he wasn’t the only fighter, cleric or magic-abuser in the party. But as a second (or third) it was quite versitile. And he was much the same Solonor that y’all know from here, which made it all so much fun. I MISS THOSE DAYS! Dammit. 🙂
OK, my stats:
Str: 9
Int: 10
Wis: 17
Dex: 15
Con: 9
Chr: 15
I still have Domino’s character sheet, I saw it a little while ago, along with Firestone’s (who had a real bad-ass bow – remember the one that pratically killed that vampire Lestah threw at us, I think Ric was in that battle too). I also have the bard Ro-Dylian, but he never got to far.
