New version of MT to fight spam

Can you still see me? Upgraded to Movable Type 2.661, so I’m just checking.

I don’t know how this will affect anything, by they’ve put out this release to combat comment spam. It includes a setting that makes it where comments from the same IP address can only be posted every few seconds and put in logic to automatically ban an IP address that posts comments from the same address in a short period of time. So, basically, no more comment wars from Speaker and Brian! Ha!

For you early adopters, they’ve released a 2.661 update.

    I haven’t upgraded yet myself seeing as I’m using MT Blacklist the new options 2.661 adds aren’t really all that useful to me. I want MT 3.0 dammit!
