It is an awful coincidence (repeat AWFUL) that right after Tim made the comment “Sooner or later, some bottom-feeding slimeball will work out a way of spamming Moveable Type comments…” on my entry about spam in referrer logs that we hear from PromoGuy that someone has done just that!
Die, spammers, die!!
I’ve stopped blaming the spammers. I now blame the idiots who apparently make it profitable.
Me? Secret spammer? Have you never done a usenet search of all my posts, like this?
Aha! That proves it!! It’s just like a slimey spammer to spend his life crusading against spam…just to throw us off the trail. Your sneaky tricks won’t work here, sir!
And what evil will you assuse me of planning next? Am I going to be a secret member of the religious right, scheming to ban role-playing games? Or one of those people proposing to close down all railway lines, and convert them into roads? Or am I a record company executive flooding the airwaves and record shops with manufactured plastic boy bands?
