ME: Let’s go! I’m taking you to school today.
PEPPERKAT: *continues to play with her computer*
ME: Come on. I’m not like your mother. I’m not into that whole last minute, hot-rod, weaving in and out of traffic thing…
HER: Hey!
PK: *snicker*
ME: Yeah. I’m not nice to you like she is, letting you take yer own sweet time. I’m mean!
PK: You’re a dirty, rotten liar…
ME: See? I’m a dirty, rotten liar even! Let’s go!
PK: At least I’m doing a school-related activity.
ME: Get yer ass in the car. That’s a school-related activity.

I think I’ve got the technique down, now. Just make sure you book me to speak before I’ve had my coffee. After that, I’m a pushover.

    That’s much nicer than me. I’ve been telling them for years that if they don’t get in the car, I’m going to kill them in their sleep. They just laugh at me.
