He may have less experience than most of his SGCBL College peers, but that didn't slow Salg the One-Eyed down at all in 2049.
At the age of 21, the Minas Morgul College left fielder has been named the winner of the Blue Mountains Conference Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .390 batting average and a .441 on-base percentage this year. In 46 games he piled up 76 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 15 home runs, 47 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 30. Flormina Euthor of the Linhir College Roosters finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Brian Rougecheeks of the Moontower College Metros finished third with 1 first place vote.
