R.I.P., Buck Owens

Crappity. Buck Owens died yesterday.

He was one of the mainstays of my father’s repertoire (Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Merle Haggard and Johnny Horton).

    I’m trying to remember what was the deal with him. Since you said your Dad used to do his stuff, that wasn’t it.

    Was he the one that Dick Curless had a big problem with?

    Guess we’ll need to be looking for that Hee-Haw infomercial again…
