solly–ok, i’m back. this time for that love-in thing. (i’m a little late in getting to it, but my intentions were good.)
anywho, sol, i hope you know by now that i lurrrve you. remember the poem? eh? straight from the heart. and the gentle teasing? all out of love, baby. yeah, sure, you now bear deep unhealable emotional scars, but it’s good for you. gives you character.
i love you because i can be the cheeseball i am when in your presence and you don’t mock. at least not too loudly. and i love you because you’re my long lost separated at birth twin, and because you are the commissioner and creator of Tolkien baseball, and because you wrote my eulogy, for Pete’s sake! you’re really swell. i dig ya.

oh, and one more thing–something i meant to mention a long while ago. i love you because you always include everybody, and it’s a very cool thing when nobody is left out of the game; it’s much more fun to play when everybody gets to. i suppose it’s a silly little thing to notice, but notice i did, and i think you’re a good man for it.
