Where’s the Earth-shattering KA-BOOM?

It’s not every morning you awake and say, “Oh crap…I wasn’t jolted out of bed by a loud noise…”

When the alarm went off at 5:30, my first thought was that I had not heard the sound of Discovery landing. (When it flies over us on its way to the Cape, it sets off a pair of sonic booms that shakes the walls, depending on which way it comes in.) But it just looks like they’ve postponed the landing until tomorrow, due to crappy weather.

I heard that the descent was taking them over Central America, over Key West and up 95 so you may not be within earshot on this one.
