After much research I have found nearly every screenshot and piece of information I need to form the best timeline and history of Microsoft Windows. So here it is, a comprehensive and full guide to the history of Microsoft’s Windows Operating System starting just before it all started, Multiplan and Interface Manager.

    That was funny. I, too, remember Windows 2.0 (barely) but the 3.0 and 3.1 stuff certainly brings back memories….

    I loved that! I came in on the 3.1 variety and the screen shots definitely brought back memories. Brought back a particular embarassing one….
    I didn’t know what dithering was and I thought the colors with the “little polka dots” were patterns to be used in coloring images. What can I say, I’m an idiot… =P
