City Sidewalks, Busy Sidewalks

Well, we survived. In fact, we had a pretty good time. I kept the embarassment factor to a minimum, and the crowds weren’t all that bad. Now we’re going to settle in and watch A Muppet Family Christmas, which I almost bought before being reminded that they got that for me as a present last Christmas.

Pepperkat took her camera along to document the festivities.

It was decidedly UN-Christmas-like weather. Note the palm tree.

Her camera batteries died immediately. Note Whiny “Vanna” the Elder.

We met my brother for lunch.

Mmmm… chocolate shake…

We discussed the symbolism of Pepperkat’s wrist apparel… We agreed that we were safe, since none of them was a dreaded jelly bracelet. We think the large one in the middle signifies the fateful march of time.

Cool Christmasy stuff.

Mmmm… chocolate…

Mmmm… chess…

We wound up at Sci-Fi City (duh).

And, finally, we drove Whiny over the edge with Christmas music…
