There are times (like now) when I despair that there is no justice.
In the 1997 kidnapping case, a 20-year-old woman in Bradenton said a man grabbed her as she walked by and tried to pull her away, according to records released by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
“He got on top of me and told me to shut up or he would cut me,” she told authorities. After a struggle, she said, she managed to run into the street, and passengers in an approaching van stopped and rescued her.
Smith, found hiding behind a house by a police tracking dog, was acquitted by jurors after telling them he was trying to keep the woman from running into the street and she misunderstood.
Crap.
That. Sucks. Big. Time.
I’m holding my tongue (OK, fingers) to stop from going on a capital punishment tirade here. But last time I checked, y’all Floridians do have the Death Penalty, dontcha? Cuz if they prove that this scumbag is the guy………………….
I cannot possibly imagine what those people are going through right now. I’ll be praying for them. (Heathens have feelings, too. And children.)
I said earlier that I think we should plug old smokey back in just for him. I know it’s cruel and he may bleed while being cooked but lethal injection is too good for him.
This sucks so much.
And those jurors have to live with this little girls death.
when I read about her being found dead this morning, I was so f’ing mad. It’s so senseless. That little girl was everything to a lot of people and someone can just come along and shatter their world for no f’n reason.
I’d kill him with my bear hands if that was my daughter.
