    Yours were real good choices. Most would not admit to the Carpenters, yet we all own one of their albums. Except for Theresa, who makes me feel real old.

    I remember the first time that I ever heard The Kid Is Hot Tonite, it was in a very fast vehicle owned by a reformed (we think) Teenage Menace who happens to have posted on this very subject earlier….

    Oh and BTW, I like a good Carpenters song once in a while too…”Baby, baby, baby oh baby…I love youuu…”, good stuff.

    yes, i’m in agreement with the Linkmeister: ain’t no shame in diggin’ on the Carpenters.

    i can’t think of particular songs, but maybe bands/artists/albums i shouldn’t like but kinda sorta…ok, i like them. (guilty pleasures)
