when we lived in Colorado, tornado warnings were a common summertime occurrence. they would form somewhere over Boulder (we lived just outside Boulder) and skip over us onto the plains and out toward Kansas. we witnessed some wicked storms, but not once in 2 years did we actually see a tornado in our neck of the woods. dear husband and i watched a funnel cloud forming once–but that’s the closest we ever got.

We live just NE of UCF… and watched the huge-ass storm go right on by! For once, we didn’t get anything except wind. Whew.
Do you have any of that flooding over there in Apopka? My backyard makes squishing noises when you walk on it.
