Sgt. Grump pointed me at this article on ExtremeTech: Geek Toys: MicroCar Smackdown, and now my inner child is whining, “Me want!”
The article compares the two versions of mini-RC cars competing for the hearts of geeky toy and race car enthusiasts–the Microsizers and the Zip Zaps. Both types are 2-inch racers that have that highest of cool qualities: customizability. Everything from bodies to tires, hubcaps, and even suspension can be tweaked and upgraded. These things are jumping off the shelves and are poised to be the Christmas craze.
