It Lives! And it brings Christmas cheer

Still feeling kinda oogie, but you don’t come here to find out about my health (except, of course, for that stalker who’s got the life insurance policy out on me). You come here to see if I’ve got any holiday goodness to share with you.

And you’re in luck, my friend! Presented for your Christmassy pleasure, here is an mp3 ripped straight from the plastic of a holiday CD by the Crooms Academy of Information Technology’s own steel drum band, The Steel Monkeys.

This is their first foray beyond the steel drum and into other percussion instruments. It’s a rendition of “Carol of the Bells” done with drums, keyboard percussion and, of course, bells. If you’ve got a really good ear, you can tell the difference between marimba, vibraphone and xylophone, and, thus, you will be able to hear Whiny’s part on the vibraphone.
