Yes, we might be a bit on the gloomy side of optimism, but if they can just get Tom Brady in the game, the Sox ought to be able to score a few more touchdowns next time and win. (It wouldn’t hurt if they’d start tackling the Yankee hitters as they run around the basepaths, either.)
But now that the Yanks have cleared out all of the fair weather fans, the rest of us can get down to the business of cheering on the unprecedented Sox comeback. It’s just 4 games. Believe it.
