Anyone who knows me knows I am a sucker for lists. (I heard that sarcastic “Not you!?” wifey-poo. Bite me.)
Well, I’ve found List Heaven at a place called Lists of Bests. They’ve compiled all the “Best Of” lists for books, movies and music in one place, letting you check off which ones you’ve read, seen or heard. Here are my stats so far.
As you can see, I’ve not read nearly enough, but I knew that. The scary part was on the music lists. Note that I have heard 52 of the Virgin Top 100 Albums, and yet count the number from the Top 100 of the 1990’s… That’s right. ZERO.
Damn, I’m old.
Here’s my stats.
I’ve just started on the music. I hate you for this. I’ll never get anything done today.
I got 16 on the second list tht I own and have heard. The rest I’ve heard of but never heard. On the first list I got 21. That’s what for being into punk, industrial and techno I guess.
The 90s list was three, I think, for me.
I blew movies out of the water. Look for user ScottB. 🙂
So, hey, did the wifey-poo really bite you?
I know if I was dumb enough to say that, my shoulder would have fang marks and I’d be bleeding profusely right now.
As I expected, I did better on the music list than the others, but I got really depressed when I started doing the books list… I don’t even want to mention how few I’ve actually read. I notice that they don’t have a list for 100 best “B” movies, or I’d have nearly aced that one!
Busy Dad is all over that link! Like glue, I tell ya!
i like to make lists of my lists
Like Solonor, I am a sucker for lists. Solly went and linked this great site, Lists of Bests, and I’ve
Oh. My. God. I’m going to be sitting here for hours. I’m not sure if I should kiss you or curse you. :p
