Live Snoozefest

Not that I expected any different, but the Live 8 broadcast sucks much ass. Too many talking heads. Too many commercials. Music cut off before it’s finished (or acts skipped entirely). When they skip showing Annie Lennox for an interview with Jimmy Fallon, you know it’s time to change the channel.

    I’m watching it in England, on the BBC (hence no commercials!). Still far too many talking heads, and not enough of the music from venues apart from London. 10 seconds of Muse in Paris was not nearly enough.

    Not a big fan of Annie Lennox, but hers was one of the best performances of day so far. And we did get to see all of it!
